Ottawa Area Emergency, Urgent Care & Exotic Veterinary Resources

What is the difference between Urgent Care and Emergency Hospitals?

Urgent Care is for issues that are time-sensitive, but not immediately life threatening.

Urgent Care is perfect for times when you pet has something that is uncomfortable like an ear or eye infection, facial swelling, a hot spot, etc and you do not want your pet to have to suffer until your regular Doctor has an appointment available for you. For urgent care, I recommend to call the hospital before going there to make sure they are able to fit you in that day.
